My Favorite Authors and Series

These are the authors that have inspired me over the years. Check them out, they are all amazing!
  • Piers Anthony – Author of the Xanth, Incarnations of Immortality, Apprentice Adept, and Bio of a Space Tyrant Series. I started reading Xanth as a teenager and thoroughly enjoyed these books. I highly recommend the Incarnations series for young adults.
  • Terry Brooks – Author of the Shannara Series – I’ve been reading these since I was sixteen. Amazing series and stories.
  • L Frank Baum – Author of the first fourteen (Yes, I said fourteen) Land of Oz books. – I read these initially at the Omaha public library when I was in sixth grade and they have stuck with me. The pictures at the start of each chapter in my books are a tribute to this series.
  • David Eddings – Author of the Belgariad and Mallorean. – Man, what can I say about David Eddings? His two series occupied a significant portion of my teenage years as well.
  • C.S. Lewis – Author of The Chronicles of Narnia Series. – Another favorite of mine, with (in my opinion) The Voyage of the Dawn Treader being the best.
  • Sean Oswald – Author of Dragon Sorcerer, Welcome to the Multiverse, and Magic Eater Series. – This one is a special recognition as he impacted me in ways that changed my life. So, I was reading Induction at noon on Sunday, July 14th, 2024, and I kept thinking to myself, What would I do in that situation? What would I do? What would I… Oh my God… WHAT WOULD I DO?!? I ran into my office and started typing in Word. What felt like only a couple of hours later, my son came into the room and said, “Dad? Are we going to eat dinner?” It was EIGHT PM! This book is what gave me the idea to start writing.
